IC AVR seniornya ATmega328P-PU yang biasa di pake di UNO gan. Walau speknya lebih rendah daripada ATmega328, tapi masih relevan untuk aplikasi2 agan yang sesuai dengan harga lebih murah. IC Microcontroller CMOS 8 bit ini di desain berdasarkan arsitektur AVR RISC. Per MHz, atmega8 bisa menghasilkan kemampuan kalkulasi berkecepatan 1MIPS dengan konsumsi daya yang relatif rendah.
